Bookkeeping has been in my family’s bloodline.

My father was a CPA, my brother was a CPA. My brother’s best friend was a CPA. Somehow, though, I became a computer programmer!

I spent many years working as a computer programmer, developing programs that helped corporations make accurate, informed business decisions. That experience taught me the importance of organization, accuracy, attention to detail, and working complex information - all skills that I now bring to my bookkeeping business.

I decided to follow in my family’s footsteps and started my own bookkeeping service. My goal is to help local small-business owners spend less time worrying about their books and more time doing what they do best - growing their business.

A Little About Me

When not working on my clients’ books, I enjoy sitting outside on my porch overlooking beautiful Greenwood Lake. There is always something to enjoy - the boats gliding across the water, ducks, geese, and swans, water skiers, fishermen, sail boats, jet skis. I love watching the lake change with the seasons, admiring the beauty of a rainbow after a summer rain, and watching the moonlight shimmer across the water.

One of my favorite things is watching the hummingbirds that visit and chase each other around the feeder while enjoying the nectar I provide for them. These quiet moments by the lake are a wonderful reminder to slow down, appreciate the beauty around me, and enjoy the simple things in life.

I have also been a part of my church community for more than 20 years. I serve on the Worship Team, occasionally singing as a background vocalist. When not scheduled to sing, I help in the Audio Visual Team and at other times, I worship through dance and flags. These activities bring me so much joy.

I also occasionally volunteer with a local food pantry and participate in a town-wide swap event in Warwick, NY helping accept and organize donations.

I believe in working hard, serving others, and building genuine relationships - and I bring those same values to the way I serve my bookkeeping clients.
